How does voice preservation work?+
We use state-of-the-art voice cloning technology. Voice preservation is an opt-in feature - if you don't enable it, we don't capture or save your voice in any form. Only app users can enable voice preservation.
What happens if my call goes over 1 minute?+
You'll be charged from the second minute onwards at just 10¢/min. The first minute of every call is always free.
Do both people need the app installed?+
No! You can make calls app-to-app or app-to-telephone. However, voice preservation only works for app users. If you're calling a regular phone, your voice will be preserved but theirs won't.
Can I use it for business calls?+
Yes, you can use The Banana App for any type of calls - personal, business, or anything else.
What internet connection do I need?+

Absolutely. All conversations are peer-to-peer between you and the other person. We never store your conversations or recordings. The only data we keep is your voice profile if you opt-in to voice preservation.

Purchase minutes directly in the app via Google Play or App Store. We offer flexible packages so you can buy what you need.
Does it support group calls?+
Currently we only support one-to-one calls. Group calls may come in the future!
What's the audio quality like?+
On par with any modern calling app you're used to. Crystal clear audio.
Does it work offline?+
No, you need an internet connection for real-time translation to work.
How accurate is the translation?+
Translation accuracy isn't 100%, but we work hard to sound as accurate as possible and keep improving constantly. If you notice issues, your feedback helps us get better!
